OUR HISTORY
A LEGACY SINCE 1976
Mountain View High School opened in 1976 as Mesa’s third public high school. The Toro football program quickly established a tradition of excellence, capturing its first state championship in 1978. Today, the program continues to emphasize hard work, endurance, teamwork, integrity, and leadership—values that support a strong culture on and off the field and reflect Mountain View’s reputation as a “Campus of Champions.”

Toro Football strives to develop young men with character, self-esteem, self-discipline, and academic achievement while teaching leadership, teamwork, commitment, and a deliberate pursuit of reaching their highest potential.
