OUR HISTORY

A tradition of excellence—built on hard work, endurance, teamwork, integrity, and leadership.
LEGACY
CAMPUS OF CHAMPIONS
Mountain View High School opened in 1976 as Mesa’s third public high school. The Toro football program quickly established a tradition of excellence, capturing its first state championship in 1978.
Today, the program continues to emphasize hard work, endurance, teamwork, integrity, and leadership—values that support a strong culture on and off the field and reflect Mountain View’s reputation as a “Campus of Champions.”
